Shipping

Shipping arrangements vary depending on the artwork.

Some artwork prices include shipping within Australia, while others have shipping quoted separately due to size, weight, fragility, location or special handling requirements.

Please check the shipping note on each artwork page before purchasing.

Shipping included

Where an artwork page states that shipping is included, the listed price includes standard shipping within Australia.

IMMI Contemporary will coordinate shipping with the artist after purchase and will provide tracking details where available.

Shipping quoted separately

Where an artwork page states that shipping is excluded or quoted separately, the listed artwork price does not include shipping.

You are welcome to purchase the artwork online and IMMI Contemporary will contact you after purchase with a shipping quote before dispatch.

You are also welcome to contact IMMI Contemporary before purchasing if you would prefer to confirm shipping costs first.

If you purchase an artwork and do not wish to proceed with the quoted shipping cost, IMMI Contemporary will cancel and refund the artwork purchase before dispatch.

Local collection and delivery

Artworks remain with the artist until sold, unless otherwise arranged.

As many artists represented by IMMI Contemporary are based in the Northern Rivers, local collection or personal delivery may be available where appropriate.

If both the buyer and artist are local to the Northern Rivers, IMMI Contemporary can help coordinate collection or delivery after purchase.

International shipping

International shipping is not included unless expressly stated.

Dispatch timing

Dispatch timing may vary depending on the artist’s location, packaging requirements, framing, courier availability and whether shipping has already been included or needs to be quoted separately.

Artists are asked to package works securely and professionally, and to provide tracking details and an image of the packaged work before dispatch.

IMMI Contemporary will keep buyers updated throughout the process.

Packaging

Each artwork is packaged with care by the artist, IMMI Contemporary or an agreed third-party handler.

Packaging will be considered according to the artwork’s medium, size, surface, framing and fragility.

Custom framing

Some artworks are sold unframed.

Where appropriate, IMMI Contemporary can help coordinate custom framing for buyers. Framing costs are quoted separately and are not included in the artwork price unless expressly stated.

Commissions

For enquiries about commissioning a similar work by an artist represented through IMMI Contemporary, please contact hello@immicontemporary.com.

Commissions are considered on a case-by-case basis and depend on the artist’s availability, process and suitability of the request.

Returns

Due to the nature of original artworks, change-of-mind returns are not generally accepted.

This does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. The ACCC states that consumer guarantees may entitle customers to a remedy where goods or services do not meet required guarantees, but businesses are generally not required to provide a refund simply because a customer changes their mind.

Damage in transit

Please inspect your artwork as soon as it arrives.

If an artwork arrives damaged, contact IMMI Contemporary within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the artwork, the packaging and any visible damage.

IMMI Contemporary will manage communication with the buyer in the event of damage, loss or delivery issues. Where damage or loss is confirmed, the buyer will be refunded and the sale will be void.

GST

IMMI Contemporary is not currently registered for GST. No GST has been charged unless otherwise stated.
