By using this website, purchasing an artwork, booking a service or engaging with IMMI Contemporary, you agree to the terms below.

About IMMI Contemporary

IMMI Contemporary is a curated art platform based on Bundjalung Country, operating across an online gallery, art consulting and artist support.

IMMI Contemporary presents selected artworks by contemporary artists and may act as an intermediary between artists, collectors, designers, businesses and clients.

Artwork purchases

All artworks are subject to availability. While care is taken to keep listings up to date, an artwork may become unavailable if sold elsewhere or withdrawn by the artist before the website has been updated.

Artwork details, including title, year, medium, dimensions, framing and condition, are provided based on information supplied by the artist and checked by IMMI Contemporary where possible.

Colours may appear differently on screen depending on your device, display settings and lighting.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian dollars.

IMMI Contemporary is not currently registered for GST. No GST has been charged unless otherwise stated.

Artwork prices may either include shipping within Australia or exclude shipping, depending on the individual artwork listing. Please refer carefully to the artwork description before purchasing.

Because Australian pricing rules require extra costs to be clear and not misleading, your wording around shipping should stay prominent on each product page and at checkout.

Shipping, delivery and collection

Shipping arrangements vary by artwork.

Where the artwork description states that shipping is included, the listed price includes standard shipping within Australia.

Where the artwork description states that shipping is quoted separately, IMMI Contemporary will contact you after purchase with a shipping quote before dispatch.

If you do not wish to proceed with the quoted shipping cost, IMMI Contemporary may cancel and refund the artwork purchase before dispatch.

International shipping is not automatically included unless expressly stated. International buyers should contact IMMI Contemporary before purchasing to confirm availability, shipping costs and timing.

Local collection or delivery may be available by arrangement for some works.

Dispatch and handling

Artworks are packaged with care by the artist, IMMI Contemporary, or an agreed third-party handler.

Dispatch times may vary depending on the artist’s location, packaging requirements, framing, courier availability or shipping arrangements. IMMI Contemporary will keep buyers informed of expected timing.

Damage in transit

Please inspect your artwork as soon as it arrives.

If an artwork arrives damaged, contact IMMI Contemporary within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the artwork, packaging and any visible damage.

IMMI Contemporary will work with the artist, courier or insurer where relevant to resolve the issue.

Returns and refunds

Due to the nature of original artworks, change-of-mind returns are not generally accepted.

This does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Businesses selling goods or services in Australia must comply with consumer guarantees, and customers may be entitled to a remedy if a product is faulty, not as described or does not meet applicable consumer guarantees.

Refunds, replacements or other remedies will be considered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and the circumstances of the purchase.

Artist support and consulting services

IMMI Contemporary provides artist support, art consulting, strategic and creative services to artists, collectors, organisations and businesses.

All services are offered in good faith, drawing on professional experience across curatorial practice, communications, art advisory, funding strategy and project development.

Outcomes such as artwork sales, funding success, exhibition opportunities, media coverage, professional advancement or project results cannot be guaranteed.

Bookings, payment and cancellations

Service fees must be paid in full before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For project-based work, a deposit may be required to confirm the engagement, with remaining fees invoiced as agreed.

Consultations may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a refund.

Intellectual property

All written materials, strategies, documents and creative materials developed by IMMI Contemporary remain the intellectual property of IMMI Contemporary until full payment has been received.

Clients may use delivered materials for their own professional or business purposes once payment has been made.

Artists retain copyright in their artworks unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Artwork images must not be copied, reproduced, downloaded, published or used without permission from the artist and/or IMMI Contemporary.

Website content

All website content, including text, layout, branding, images and design, is owned by or licensed to IMMI Contemporary unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce or use website content without written permission.

Third-party platforms

IMMI Contemporary may use third-party platforms to operate the website, process payments, manage email subscriptions, deliver services or communicate with clients and customers.

Use of those platforms may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, IMMI Contemporary is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the website, reliance on website content, or outcomes resulting from advice, materials or recommendations provided through its services.

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
