About
Jana Moser is a genderqueer artist based on Bundjalung Country. Their practice spans drawing, painting, ceramics and installation. They pull from a broad range of research interests across ecology, queer theory and abstraction. Moser holds a BFA from the Victorian College of the Arts (2018) and has exhibited in Australia, Mexico and Germany.
Untitled (relic), was made on an artist residency at PILOTENKUECHE in Leipzig, Germany in 2019. This work marks an important time of experimentation and is shaped by gestures of scraping away, etching into, concealing, and sewing forms directly into the picture using a needle and thread.
